Continental Wind Partners LLC (CWP) believes that the world is changing, and we are part of that change. We develop large scale renewable energy projects that benefit consumers, communities and the earth. We combine international experience with local commitment, and have offices in all of the five countries where we operate. Our primary focus is wind energy, with more than 5,000 megawatts of capacity under development in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Australia. CWP's Fantanele project in Romania, acquired by CEZ, is Europe's largest onshore wind farm and one of the largest transactions in the European wind sector to date. We continue to expand aggressively through our local development teams and partners in emerging markets for renewable energy.
Our core business is to develop onshore wind energy projects. Our expertise takes projects through all stages of the project lifecycle: securing land, conducting wind analysis, performing GIS mapping and windfarm layout optimization, securing environmental and building consents, and procuring turbines, equipment and construction works. The Fantanele windfarm in Romania, with over 300 MW currently commissioned is an example of our construction management capabilities.
